Connecting an electronic kit

Connect the kit's USB port to the iPad, with an adapter if needed. Crash Bang Clang finds it by itself; check under My kit. If a pad plays the wrong sound, use "Learn pads" there.

Hits feel early or late

Every setup has a small delay. Run the calibration under My kit once for your kit or microphone, and use headphones or a wired speaker rather than Bluetooth.

Acoustic kit or practice pad

Turn on the microphone under My kit and put the iPad near the kit. The microphone checks timing, not which drum you hit. For the timing games, wear headphones so the iPad does not hear its own click.

Starting with your sticks

Click your sticks together four times, evenly. Crash Bang Clang takes the tempo from your clicks and starts on the next beat. You can turn this off under My kit.

Playing along to songs

Songs need an Apple Music subscription. Pick a song, then tap along on 1 2 3 4 so the lesson locks to it.

Subscription

Manage or cancel Crash Bang Clang Plus in Settings, under your Apple ID, Subscriptions. To restore it on a new iPad, open Parents and choose Restore purchases.

Deleting data

Open Parents and choose "Delete all data on this device and in iCloud".
